Hip Hip Hooray!

We're back - Blogger's back online!

I've been waiting "patiently" for a long time to post my card for the
Waltzing Mouse sketch challenge!  Maybe not so very patiently.  Been pretty much complaining to anyone who'll listen!
Here goes!

I have been admiring all the cute stamps that look like my old childhood toy, the Spirograph.  Then I remembered having these old Colorbok die cuts. They have pretty much the same look and it was a way to rid myself of a little more of my stash.
I was able to use my Waltzing Mouse "Bountiful Baskets Additions" stamp again, this time with just the contents and birthday sentiment. (No, I still haven't found my lost favorite basket stamp from that set!  I seriously think now the dog ate it! )
The doily was die cut (My Favorite Things die) from DCWV's "Cirtus" paper pack, and the dotted ribbon is Fiskars.
The inside stamped sentiment is an old one from CTMH, "Youthful Heart".

I love the way this simple little card came out!  I plan to use it for a friend who's birthday is in late December.  I think it has that Christmas holiday look without being too over the top.

Here is the little culprit I think MAY have carried off my tiny stamp!  She's not usually eating things like that, but I HAVE found her with little pieces of my cut paper or a sticker stuck on her nose....hmmm.....
LIZZY

Hope you are all happy to be back to bloggin'!

I love this Jan...the way those little packages are peeking up is a special way to celebrate anyone's birthday, no matter what time of year the birthday falls.

Thanks for playing along with the Waltzingmouse Stamps sketch challenge!
