Kim Hughes' New Stamp Line!

In case you haven't heard, my friend and fantastic card maker, Kim Hughes has a brand new line of clear stamps, the first sets of which have just been released! And just in time for Valentine's Day! Some of you probably remember Kim's previous stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms. This was BIS..."Before I Scrapped". So the ones I'm familiar with are the older ones that I've been fortunate enough to run across over the last few years.
Along with the online store, she has a great new blog that will include challenges and a Design team that I'm sure we'll see some terrific ideas from!
What's the name of the new stamp line?
Isn't that adorable?
The stamp and sentiment I used for this card is from the new
"Falling For You" set.

I stamped the apple image twice and colored it with my Copics, adding the black cardstock apple seeds.  I popped up the bottom layer just a touch, and then folded and glued the top layer on.
The pattern papers are DCWV, "Citrus"; punched scallop is Martha Stewart; and polka dot ribbon is from my scrap stash.
Isn't the little sentiment cute?

Go check 'em out now!

Second Valentine post today!

My second card post for today is for my grandson.  He and I share a love for the lovable sock monkey! I have one that I share when Hayden comes to visit. He would never admit to it, but he likes having him to snuggle with at night. And, most importantly, I call Hayden MY little "monkey".
I used the red Bazzill cardstock again, but this time embossed it with Swiss Dots. The banner is cut from several Cosmo Cricket papers, again the vellum is a sentiment from Colorbok. I would love to say I know who makes the Sock Monkey paper, but I picked it up at my LSS some time ago and it's not stamped. My bad!
The best part of this card is that I got out my sewing machine! Poor thing has been packed away since our move. I love the look of stitching on cards/layouts and intend to use it more in the future!
Now, off to work on birthday cards!  So many February birthdays!

I (heart) my boys!

My Valentine's Cards this year primarily consist of my grandson (Hayden) and my other favorite little guy, Noah,  who I baby-sat for from the time he was 3 months! I will eventually make one for the DH, but that will take more consideration.... hmmm....
But for now, here is my first KIDDY card for this holiday!
Noah turns two this March, and he already knows many of his letters by name! So he will recognize the X's and O's.  Also, one of his favorite "amamals" in his picture books at my house is the "Oppotoos".
I used Bazzill cardstock for the red background and embosed it with the Cuttlebug "Hearts" folder. The blue sparkly circles strip is from DCWV (Animal Crackers), the 3D octopus image and "bubbles" are K & Co. (A to Z). The letter boxes are cut from Martha Stewart's "Baby Boy" collection; the red letters are Cricut "Base Camp"; and finishing it up is a vellum sentiment from Colorbok.
