FYI - My House Mouse card was a Favorite Pick!

Everything's been so busy lately that
I forgot to post that my
HOUSE MOUSE
EASTER card
was picked as a favorite on the challenge blog!

Always great to have a project noticed!
And it was so much fun to color!
For details, link is here!

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Snorkel Bunny Card

I have been waiting for several of my favorite stamping companies to issue a
Design Team Call
and it has happened!
one of my all-time go-to's is doing just that!
I can't wait to see if I have what it takes to get on this
very fun and creative team!

The card I made :

The adorable rabbit image I used is
and can be found by clicking on this link!

Colored with Copic markers and
some pattern papers from my past DT stash.

At this angle, you can see how I used Glossy Accents
to cover the clear mask and the swim fins to appear to be rubber.

My grandkids are going to really enjoy getting this
"just because".  They are vacationing in California and I won't be joining them for another whole week yet!
I can't wait to leave this miserable Arizona heat!

I will be applying for a spot on the Tiddly Inks Design Team and am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things.
I have taken a hiatus from any teams for the past year or so due to some family matters, but my mom seems to be all settled in and the grandbaby has gotten so big already,
so I can devote more time to creating again!
I so miss the timelines, socialization,
and comradery of being on a team!
I love their wide assortment of images that includes
something for everyone, both clear stamps and digital!
Wish me luck!

Happy Easter! from House Mouse

Who doesn't love pink and red jelly beans in their Easter basket?
I know my grandson and granddaughter do!

I made this easel card just by coloring them all their favorite colors.
With Copics, of course!

Sometimes it's an "Uphill Battle!"

Greetings for the NEW YEAR!

I am thrilled to say that I am looking at the New Year with a renewed energy that I hope to direct toward LOTS more crafting, especially my scrapbooking and card making!
Of course, that won't leave out my love of home décor items! I already have a "mental" list
of the things I want to accomplish in the coming months!

To kick it off,
I am entering my card AND applying for a DT position with
I have long admired their clever idea of "purging" all these supplies we have hoarded
and putting them to good use!
Plus, they have a very generous group of sponsors and images that I love!

Enjoy the card, and wish me luck.  This will encourage me to do more as
I'm always better with deadlines and commitments!

This card was made using a House Mouse image from Stampendous,
as well as the green crushed glass glitter!
The foil paper is from DCWV!
Colored with Copic markers,
with the wooden snowflakes that I've stained brown to match the ski's.
I'd never seen anyone wood stain the flakes, so thought it would be unique!

This card was made for my dear friend who is starting out the New Year
recovering from a mild heart attack!  I Do hope this lifts her spirits!

Thanks for looking at my blog today, and please leave a comment.
(And again, wish me luck getting "back on the horse" and being accepted to a design team!)
