PLAY BALL!

One of the September sketch challenges at Sassy Lil' Sketches was this adorable three-photo layout! I decided it worked better "weightwise" with my pictures of my grandson by FLIPPING the page, with the title on the left and the baseball embellie and swirl on the right!  I've been asked what paper line I used for the "newspaper srticle" used in the background...well, being frugal to a fault, it is an actual scanned article from our local Arizona Republic! I printed it onto tan paper and aged it on the edges.

This one will go in my mother's (great-grandma's)  8 X 8 album.   Future Diamondback?  Probably not....

Swirl is a wooden die cut that I painted. Hard to see the dimension that it adds in the picture. Thanks!
