This is a card I made and entered for the very first Some Odd Girl Hol-ODD-day Hop

when I first began coloring with my Copics markers!

It brings back so many memories;

struggling with highlighting hair, coloring the darling eyes, skin tones...

These SOG images are so great to color or to paper piece!

 

I love joining all these terrific gals this year and

being a Some Odd Girl "hopper"!

Another Flashback Friday!

    This flashback takes us all back to our first PAPER-PIECED project!

I don't know for sure if it's my very first, but it's the first I posted on my blog!

I made this card for a high school friend who I hadn't seen in ages!

SOG Bling time!

Some Odd Girl is having a challenge to add BLING to your SOG projects! 

Perfect!

I made this growth chart for a friend who just had her second child a few months ago. I am constantly in awe of how her first has grown SO much in the last 2 years!  It's been 35 years since I had the joy of measuring my own little ones and seeing how tall they've gotten!

The little Some Odd Girl characters are so adorable, and were perfect for this project!
Sorry about the shine on his eyes. I had used Glossy Accents to make them look more real and the camera caught it.  I even "planted" a little garden with silk vines and moss.

The top of the crackle painted board needed something to finish it off.

The puffy cloud makes the perfect topper.

It will look so cute on the hallway wall at their house!

Some Odd Girl Challenge...

I perused through my SOG digi stamps, and remembered I had this adorable image, "Cowboy Tobie"!  I still have several Christmas cards to send out, one of which is to some friends from the cowboy gatherings my husband and I used to attend .  This window card should be perfect for the "Mens" Christmas category!

We know what this little cowboy is thinking about!

His little head was colored twice and popped up

and I've added Glossy Accents to his eyes.

What a great way to greet the Christmas Holiday!

SOG Blog Hop!

I made this card the other day thinking perhaps for the DT call at Some Odd Girls... I think I can still submit with my DT call info later...

I love their stamps, both acrylic and digital, but have been so spread financially thin that I haven't been able to get more.  Maybe I can win one, or make the team...wouldn't that be great and keep me out of trouble!  LOL!

She's an older stamp, but a cutie, nonetheless!

It doesn't qualify for any particular category, just a sweet little Christmas card...
